The Senior Banquet this year was held April 14th and this year ' s theme was Our Year is Here . This banquet is held every year exclusively for Seniors, their officers, sponsors and Senior home room teachers. The dinner was catered by Hall ' s and served by candlelight. Before dinner the reception featured punch and cheeseballs. During the meal, Mr. Seeger and his band played, and while the caterers were clearing the tables, the Jazz Band did its thing for approximately fifteen minutes. Next came the guest speaker, who this year was the Honorable Dan Quayle, Indiana ' s 4th district U. S. Congressman. Mr. Quayle pointed out the importance of student involvement with our government, and our nation need for fewer lawyers and more farmers and businessmen in politics. Honored guests were Supt. and Mrs. Lester Crile. w t -• 26
