Colorful halls, decorated by the sophomore, junior, and senior classes marked the beginning of the 1976 Homecoming events. The theme of Homecoming was football players, past, present, and future. Connie Winters and a special committee, aided by Student Council planned Homecoming week. The week started with Boy Hush Day on Monday. Each boy received a name tag. If a girl succeeded in making a boy talk, the boy would hand his tag to her. The girl with the most tags at the end of the day was Sally Slick. Tuesday was Fifties Day, when students dressed in garb simulating the Fabulous Fifties. The day was topped off by a Sockhop. D.J. Wolfman )ack Underwood disc-jockeyed. Wednesday was Out Style the Bruins Day. Many students dressed in their Sunday best. Thursday was Lick-Em Day. Lollipops were bought from the Fine Arts Department and other sources. Thursday evening included a Powder-Puff Football game between junior and senior girls, followed by bonfire festivities. Friday was Color day. Most sophomores wore white, juniors wore gold, and seniors wore black. Friday night was the night of the big game. Many decorated cars followed in the procession to the game. At halftime the Homecoming Court assembled at the fifty yard line. Tammy Stoller was crowned Homecoming Queen by Laura Murdoch, last year ' s queen. Snider won over Northrop with the score 10-7. 10
