THE HEAT IS ON! ,pa-'ny I took the surfboard from my car and started walking to the beach. The sun was beating down, as I rode out on high crests. As I started to ride the big wave down, I realized something, I was in Fort Worth and was watching reruns of Gidget Goes Hawaiian. In Fort Worth, people cannot surf, so alternate plans had to be used. Paschal students spent lots of time out in the sun. They could spot their friends swimming in the cool water, laying out getting a great tan, or just having fun in the sun. The heat was really on during the summer of 1986.
