HJ I lb lf oeolcmlo 4, it Upon his appointment two years ago as principal of Pasch High School, Mr. Charles M, Berry faced a gratifying challenge, the direction of one of the largest high schools in the Southwest. This challenge was a high point in his career as an educator and administrator. Hard work, courtesy, and pride in being a Panther are characteristic of Mr. Berry. Such qualities have accompanied him through more than thirty years of teaching, counseling, and coaching. Mr. Berry's day does not end at 3:40, He works late at school and carries work home each day. In this way he maintains a reputation as an excellent school organizer. In addition to being an avid reader, Mr, Berry gets much pleasure from time spent working in his yard. His meticulous work with plants and lawn makes his home a place of beauty. He takes great pride in his family, which includes three Paschal graduates. As participant, judge, and viewer, he has a love for athletics in its every phase. Because of this, he is especially interested in Paschal's athletics and in the promotion of school spirit. Through triumphs and trials, Mr. Berry has been a firm hut fair leader. He has been Paschal's staunch defender in the face of outside criticism and has evidenced his faith in the essential responsibility and maturity of its students. Genuine liking for young people has enabled him to say, 'il have been happy in my work. For these qualities of industry, loyalty, firmness, and fairness, we recognize Mr. Charles M. Berry. In this spirit, we dedicate to him the 1964 Panther.
