No, I haven't seen your mommy This generation is going up in smoke Pillow fights, card games, and cotton picking highlighted the train trip to Lubbock. Over 400 Paschalites boarded the train headed for Lub- bock, the site of an exciting football game. Although it was a ten-hour trip, the passengers seldom found themselves idle. Upon arriving in Lubbock, the train was met by city police who escorted the students to the campus of Texas Tech where dinner was served by Walter Jetton. ln the featured event of the trip, the Panthers defeated the Plainsmen in their first encounter of the season. lt was a tired, sleepy group of students that boarded the train for home that night. Howdy Week activities were planned with emphasis on welcoming sophomores and new students and fa- miliarizing them with Paschal's traditions. To do this, the Student Service Council provided all students with name tags, helped sophomores get acquainted through a series of coke parties, and presented to the entire student body a program showing the importance of the Honor System.
