Rhodes, Sponsor FOREWORD Many years ago a panther lounging on Fort Worth streetcar tracks provided the city with a new nickname and Fort Worth High School withia mascot. The incident has sunk into oblivion, but here, in this book, are imprisoned the events and personalities which have made the Paschal Panther the obiect of renewed interest and tame. The Panther no longer lolls across streetcar tracks. He has ven- tured to excel in every facet of school lite. Assembled on these pages is proof.
