PASCHAL A FOOTBALL TEAM TRI-CAPTAINS-Left to right, Chris Miteff, Arthur Baird, Dickie Chubb The Paschal Panthers had a very successful season in competition with some of the state's leading contenders and a 4-A3 conference which yielded top-notch boys for the college ranks. After a fairly satisfactory non-confer- ence schedule was completed, the Panthers were disappointed by an early loss to Carter Riverside, But plucking the four following tough teams, the Panthers returned to the top of the district as co-champions with Arlington Heights. On a cold, rainy night the Panthers met Sunset of Dallas in the bi-district game, and lost T6 to 7. As one looks back, he realizes that the first Panther eleven from the new school was a carryover of the unconquer- able spirit displayed in all Paschal activities.
