I gf The 1954-55 Annual has been dedicated to the last year'o j in the present building. It is a full and complete record of st erifbc 57 4746 activities that will in the future remind all students, particularly the seniors, that they were the last group to attend Paschal High School in this building. It is my sincere desire that all traditions and sentiment regarding Paschal High School will remain intact and will be trans- ferred in your minds to the new Paschal High School. Incidently, this is the fifth move for this great high school, and it is now operating under the fourth name. The first high school was on Fourth Street located on the present site of the Central Fire Station. It was moved from there to a site on the corner of Jennings Avenue and Daggett Street, and from there it was moved to the present Parker Junior High School building. In 1918 the school was moved into this building, which at that time was a new structure. In every instance the enthusiasm regarding the school was not in the least depreciated. On the other hand, I believe the determination to make it an even greater school was made stronger by each move, I will expect the boys and girls of this school to carry on that Paschal spirit, and I have confidence that it will continue to grow in greatness re- gardless of the school's location. Let us resolve, teachers and pupils, to make the first year,' 1955-56, in the new building the greatest of this institution's entire existence. The 1954-55 Annual is one of the outstanding productions in the annual field, and I wish to congratulate those who have worked on the Annual and express to them my sincere appreciation for a job that has been so well done.
