ik it PREFACE ff it The days of the 1947 school year, like the pages of a book, have fluttered almost to a closeg the cover is about to descend upon them forever. The year's trophies are- carefully placed in the trophy case for next year's students to look at. The last Yea, Purple has died into a lingering echo in the ears ot the trium- phant Panthers. Three hundred-odd students are attending their class, Walking Paschal's halls for the last time before their eager hands clutch the long-awaited diploma. ' To those students, the year l947 is fast dissolving into a memory-a memory which this edition of the Panther seeks to preserve tor them forever.
