The club has the Friendly Neighbor Policy tor its purpose and seeks to develop a deeper understanding of Latin American countries. Under the guidance of Miss Charlie Noble, sponsor, and Mr. Oscar Monnig, club lecturer, the Penta studies the stars While it encourages the study ot mathematics. Other outstanding activities included sponsoring a Slide Rule Club each semester, award- ing ribbons, letters, and pins to honor math students, and a school dance.
