SEASIJN ies. Coming back with a splurge, Normand Patton's 18 points led the team to a 40-21 victory over North Sideis Steers. Closing their season with the 27-25 extra period defeat at the hands of Tech. the team opened the city tournament with a 23-19 defeat of Handley. In the semifinals. the Poly club. apparently a Paschal jinx. once again stopped Paschal 22-14. to close the season. Despite the lack of early season experiences such players as Patton, Reed Stewart, Ed Bode. Jim Hillisyaind ,lay Simpson more than made up for this with their outstanding steady. consistent game. Worthy of mention on most all-city teams were Johnny Small and Wilbur Reid who were polished defense men and starred on the offense at all times. Witll Hillis. Simpson. and Reid as returning lettermen and a number of squadmen hack. next yearis prospects are indeed bright. V rfmmmyy, .. v,.............--?q'7........ .
