Editorial 6th Company XYe were certainly a bunch of excited boys when we arrived in camp on that evening of 'lune 20th and Zlst. W'here do we go from here? XVhat shall we do with our packs? what company will we be with? and lots of other such ques- tions were running through our heads. XVe were not long in linding out for we were taken in hand at once by ollicers of the camp and given something to cat, then we went through the mill of registering and assignments. lt will be a long, long time before we forget our life of six weeks spent in this camp and our ollicers who labored so faithfully for our physical, mental, and moral betterment. This is only our lirst camp but we have learned much and all agree that we will return next year for further training, for the timg has been well spent. 6CIf19 lf you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on youg If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, llut make allowance for their doubting, toog lf you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give away to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wiseg lf you can dream and yet not make dreams your masterg lf you can think-and not make thoughts your aimg lf you can meet with triumph and disaster And treat those two impostors just the sameg lf you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken 'l'wisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Ur watch the things you gave your life to, broken, .Xnd stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools, lf you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings-nor lose the common touch, lf neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, lf all men count with you, but none too muchg lf you can till the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the earth and everything that's in it. And--what is more-you'll be a man, my son! --IfI!tf.Vtll'tf Kifvliug. 89
