.WO ,Mx .kg J X Homecoming hoopla Revue, dance highlights The Homecoming activities started out with the choral de- partment's annual production of the Lion Revue. The show was Thursday, Oct. 22, in the auditorium and included 23 acts. The audience seemed to be most impressed by The Ar- chives, who played Bon Jovi's hit Wanted Dead or Alive, and Brandon Sherbert for his drum solo. At the Homecoming pep rally, Oct. 23, senior Becky Morton was announced Foot- ball Sweetheart. Also an- nounced were the winners of the hall decoration contest sponsored by Senior Execu- tive Committee. The Lionettes won the first- place prize of S75 for deco- rating the cafeteria, FHA won the second-place prize of S50 for decorating downstairs C- hall, and the foreign language department won the third- place prize of S25 for deco- rating downstairs B-hall. During the halftime cere- monies at the game, which resulted in a victory for the opponent, the Lake Highlands Wildcats, the Homecoming queen and her court were presented. Shannan Swanson was announced queen. Senior princesses were Shelley John- son and Adelina Macias, junior princess was Christina Ramirez, sophomore princess was Debra Moore, and the freshman princess was Tisha Drake. The Homecoming dance was held Saturday, Oct. 24, in the cafeteria. The Student Senate picked You Look So Good in Love by country mu- sician George Strait for the theme.
