THE FAIR C MES AGAI The Annual Dixie Classic Fair came to Winston-Salem Octo- ber 3-10. Many R.J. Reynolds students at- tended having fun and excitement. The fam- ous sights and smells of the fair brough back memories of last years fair. There were many spectular shows and rides to be enjoyed. One brilliant ride was the Double Ferris wheel which was an awesome sight to see at night, Another popular ride with the students was the Pirate which was in the form of a pirates' ship and swayed back and forth. The fair pro- vided many delicious foods to be eaten. A fa- vorite was cotton can- dy, The animal display was not as big a show this year as in years past, but many students enjoyed visiting Rad- cliffe, the friendly mon- key. Although the air was not as crisp this year, many Reynolds students turned out for the fair and all in all had a great time. 22X Features
