History Department Mrs. Mary Pearce, B.A. Teaching World and American history keeps Mrs. Pearce busy, but when she finds a quiet moment, she likes to read a good book. Mrs. Hazel Flack, B.A. Mrs. Flack teaches American history. Students find her lectures both stimulating and informative in that they cover much material not included in the text. Miss Irene D’Mahalis, B.S. Among the many new teachers at Reynolds is Miss D’Mahalis, a talented artist and a well-informed history teacher. adng Sepa 6 Mr. Don Kelly, B.A., M.E. All football players recognize Mr. Kelly as their coach and many students know him as their history teacher. In both capacities, Mr. Kelly pursues his duties willingly and enthusiastically. Mr. Shirley Wilson, B.S., M.E. Coaching the football, swimming, and golf teams, together with sponsoring the Monogram Club takes much of Mr. Wilson’s time; yet, he is never too busy to counsel his contempoary history and psychology students. Mr. McLean Mitchell, B.S., M.A. Mr. Mitchell teaches Advanced Placement World History, a course in the Arts and Humanities, and American history, and still finds time to sponsor the Key Club. 24
