We had managed what had seemed to be the impossible-transforming the gym from a basketball court to a Hawaiian paradise. Later in the evening came the high point, the crowning of the queen and the selection of her court. This task was performed by Bob Halprin's band, an excellent group of musicians who supplied us with wonderful music the whole evening.
