TEN YEARS AT MURPHY We have just completed our 10th year at Murphy Junior High School. Those of us who have been here for the past 10 years have seen thousands of students pass through these halls. We are proud of the record achieved by our for- mer students and proud to send this year's graduating class to the high school. The achievements have been in all areas of education, athletics and career opportunities. We have had Valedictori- ans, Regents Scholarships winners, and All-Americans in athletics, such as Kevin Boland, Charlie Brown and Bob Rotanz in Lacrosse. Murphy graduates work in or are studying to be doctors, lawyers, teachers and in other profes- sional and non-professional careers. The history of Murphy Junior High School is apparent throughout the school. Paintings and murals done by former students are hanging on many of our walls in the school. Trophies and placques are on display by the gymnasium to honor those who have won Leaders' Awards and Babe Fluth Awards over the past 10 years. Most of all, our school community is on display.
