Coach Don Neighbors Head Boys Track Coach My philosophy for athletics is that it gives each youngster a chance to prove himself. Athlet- ics provide a place for achieve- ment and competition among a student's years that will benefit him in later life. Working with these young peopleprovides a tremendous feeling of satisfac- tion for me. Seeing a young man or lady improve themselves regardless of their ability makes every effort worthwhile. Therefore, we are includ- ing last year's achievements in the GROWL 76. Several boys qualified for regional at the dis- trict meet. Besides individual accomplishments, the '75 track team won the district meet. Three boys qualified for the State meet at Austin, they were: Greg Clanton - Shot Put, Rickey Pinckard - Shot Put, and Kenzie Foley - High lump. ,fum -V - 5' S
