AND HO- ORS C l The Q.H.S. Band went to H.E.B. Marching Contest and brought home a lst Division Trophy and an Outstanding Band Trophy. The U.I.L. Contest also brought another lst Division Trophy to the Bulldog Marching Band. These twirlers qualified to go to State Twirlingggntest this sum- mer. They are: Cindy Kirby - solo, Qanafliillips - soloit Ensemble - Laura Barber, Vicki Box, Carrie Pruett, anlirfffndy Kirby. The Quitrnan Band had 25 members make the 15AA District Band. They are: Cindy Thomp- son, Steve Mitchell, Kay Collis, Pat Ware, .and Russell Bailey: all First Chair on their instruments. Flute - Lacinda Barber, Vickilyn Wilkinson, Jill Robinson. Clarinet - Jim Elli- son, Laura Barber, Karla Kirbo. Alto Sax - Debra Brady, Carolyn Nichols, and Cindy Kirby. Trumpet - David Bennett, Stan Todd, David Nichols. Bass Clarinet - Earlene Har- ris. Baritone - Kevin Pruett. Trombone - Kenneth Hunter, Carolyn Robinson, Vicki Box and Mark Robinson. Percussion - Mark Baker, Steve White. The Quitman Band had 2 members make the Region Band. They are Pat Ware on Drums, and Kevin Pruett on Baritone.
