The Department of Theater was given departmental status in September 1972, though academic training in Drama, Speech, and Radio broadcasting has been ongoing for many years. Board Gf Trustees Enlarged Newly formed Board of Trus- tees actively engaged in policy making decisions throughout the year. Two new lay trustees were added to the six Francis- cans already on the board. It is planned that up to five addi- tional lay trustees will be ap- pointed within the next three years. The Board made several committee appointments and also named an executive com- mittee representing the Board when it was not in session.
