Firm Hand, Cool Head, Soft Shoulder Mr. Streetman is Quincy High’s assistant principal. He is a very understanding teacher and is devoted to the subject of biology. He has the highest respect of every student and teacher in Quincy High. While enjoying fish- ing, his favorite sport, he also collects frog specimens for his biology classes. Mr. Streetman has taught in Quincy eight years. We sincerely hope that he will teach here many years. MR. HAROLD STREETMAN, Assistant Principal: Biology; B.S., M.Ed., Mississippi State University; Advanced Graduate Work, Florida State University. We are happy to have Mr. Blair, our new guidance counselor. He is always in his little office ready to help students with their social and academic problems. Mr. Blair spends part of his spare time as an amateur radio operator. He thinks the school spirit at Q.H.S. is excellent. MRS. LUCIA HAMPTON, School Secre- tary; Brown’s Business College. MR. GARLAND BLAIR, School Guidance Counselor; B.A., Florida Southern; M.S., Florida State University. Mrs. Lucia Hampton is “a candle in a dark room” at Q.H.S. Besides being school secretary, she spends much of her time cheering up students and adding a gay air to the dull routine of attending school. In her spare time Mrs. Hampton applies her “green thumb” and shows everyone her ability to make things grow. 8
