EFFICIENCY MARKS BOARD, STAFF COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD—SEATED, left to right: E. H. Fletcher, Chairman, Greensboro; John C. Hinson, Quincy; H. E. Morgan, Quincy; Richard J. Gardner, Attorney, Quincy. STANDING, left to right: Coleman O. Bevis, Chattahoochee; M. D. Walker, Superintendent, Quincy; Cecil V. Butler, Havana. As they endeavor to make each school an outstanding school, the Board and Staff efficiently serve the 42,000 citizens of Gadsden County. Working jointly, the two groups carry on an intricate operation in which their many talents are combined. This is particularly true in the selection of skilled administrators and teachers, and in the planning of a broad program of educational activities. Their constant interest and leadership keep the country's schools in step with Florida's nationally recognized academic progress. For all their efforts, both formal and informal, the schools are indeed fortunate.
