... introducing In recent years Florida's white sand has lured many tourist dollars into the State. But in Quincy and Gadsden County a purer and more expensive white sand, known as fuller's earth, brings millions of industrial dollars to this area. Discovered in 1895, fuller's earth is mined and pro- cessed by the Floridin Company, one of Quincy's largest industries. It has many uses and finds its way into dozens of commercial products. 20
