LITTLE THINGS DO MEAN A LOT Left to right: Mrs. Bonnie Hall, Mrs. Flora Mitchell, and Mrs. Stella McAfee. Indispensable, Friend, Jack- of-all-trades are a few of the titles by which the never-tiring custodian, Mr. Dalton, is known. Sweeping the lunchroom, repairing tottering desks, mowing the lawn, replacing blown out lights, sharpening pencil grind- ers, and onward could go the list of the many ways in which he assists both the students and the faculty of Quincy High. He is also cooperative and is available at any time when needed. Often times Mr. Dalton has given up his free time to aid students in decorating for those all important dances. His job starts early in the morning before most of the students or teachers arrive and ends late after everyone has gone. Truly worthy of his titles is Mr. Dalton. Behind the scenes of the thriving lunchroom are the smiling faces of three managers, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. McAfee, and Mrs. Mitchell who al- so serves as dietitian. Their com- bined efforts result daily in a de- licious, nutritious and reasonably priced meal cooked just like Mom cooks. Theirs is a job that is some- times overlooked because it is taken for granted. It is time to take a bow to the lunchroom managers! Mr. Dalton 19
