GROVE HILL For many years th1s school was known as the Wharf before the bulld ing of the present school in 1892 At that tlme the name was officially named Grove Hill The date of the first school is indefinite. There was a school here in 1875, and the conclusion can be reached that the first public school was established at Grove Hill about 1860. Date of Construction - 1892 Builder - Samuel S.
