We were seen and not heard. CThings have changed, haven't they?? During 'gf 5,7 that first year we lost only five members. Of these five, one went into 'f- the service of our country and one entered Greencastle High School. As a f. . r' , s Q ,.' gala, whole, our freshman year was uneventful. 'Va' V .A wr!- ::':3IfP'.l filth' ' Our sophomore year we had shed some of our freeman green' and had ,S x x ,134 5- ,l i begun to get into the swing of things. In the way of class entertainment, We ,. f- V ' we had a roller-skating party at Cold Springs Park. Although it is usually , customary for classes to order felt goods this year, we were unable to do ' 1 -3 L so because of war time conditions This in the membership of our class At the ceeded in keeping only fifty nine of our Our class advisors during both our bliss Betty Adams and Mr Wilbur Sanders year also showed a greater decrease end of the school term we had suo original seventy freshmen and sophomore years were Juniors, already! Boy, it won't be long till we're dignified Seniors! This year we chose maroon and gold for our class colors and ordered our felt goods and Jewelry The felt goods arrived in due time, but we had to wait until summer for our jewelry r a change from the daily routine of classes, we had another skating party at Cold Springs Our class advisors this year were lr Sanders and Miss hir The big year at last!
