PRES lDlEN'lF'S MUESSAGIE I would like to use this means of expressing to you, the Student Body of Quincy High School, my thanks and appreciation for the honor you bestowed upon me last May when I was elected as your Student Body President. It has been a wonderful experience, and I hope that you are half as pleased with the 1956-57 year as I am. Your Student Council has attempted to introduce to you some new ideas and a few changes in the activity cirriculum. One of these was the All Sports Dance and the election of an All Sports Queen. VVC hope this activity will become more and more popular as the years go by. We tried a new program of pep assemblies by having each organization that had a representative on the Council, be in charge of the entertain- ment at an assembly during the year. As this year rapidly draws to a close, we look back and wonder, how could it have gone so fast? We begin to recall all those things we meant to do, but didn't. Above all, may we never forget, as we look back, that as we were learning, laughing, and having good times, students the same age as us on the other side of the world, were laying down their lives in the hope that they might someday enjoy the freedom and rights to an education like ours which we have always taken so much for granted. - May we always be thankful for the opportunities afforded us here in Quincy, and may those ol us who will soon graduate, always look back with fond memories on all those wonderful things which took place in the Four Years That Went As Fast As One.
