Side, Top, Harold Tweedle, Vice-President, Bottom, Jerry Love, Council Representative SU .HOMURE CLASS HTSTURY The Sophomore Class had a very successful year. Many of the boysb and girls participated in sports. The boys took active part in Junior Varsity football, basket- ball, baseball, and track events. The girls enjoyed playing in G.A.A. Quite a few of the students took a place in the advanced band. One outstanding musician, Bart Youngs, played in the dance band. Many girls were in chorus. The sophomores who represented various organizations in the Student Council were: Lodelle Wallace, Pat Parks, and Judy Pottorff. Our candidate for queen, joan Herbert, sewed as an attendent at the All-Sports Dance. The social climax of our sophomore year was the traditional Sophomore Hop, which was a happy ending to a, good school year for the Class of 1959.
