I, MARLENE MCDONALD, hereby will my home in South Dakota to anyone who would like to live in the Corn Palace city of Mitchell. I, JERRY MCKEVITT, hereby will to Patty my undiscovered cheer-leading abilities, but since she doesn't need them, they'll remain un- discovered. To Buana Dick, my alarm clock and my Peruvian toe-nail clippers. To Buana Nagagna, the Scandinavian matsu that is so dear to my liver. I, WILMA MCMASTER, do hereby will to Patsy Sellers my ability to go steady with her brother, knowing she would like to go steady with mine. I, DENISE MCTWIGAN, being of sound mind, hereby will my two periods of Jr. High Office to some lucky iunior, whom I know will enioy working with Mr. Burns as much as I enioyed working with him. I, DARLEEN MILLER, hereby will my ability to be patient, easy going, and understanding as a Home Economics Assistant to Linda Gossett, as she will need to be if she is ever a Home Economics Assistant and has been such a chatterbox as she is for a pupil. l, SHIRLEY MOSELEY, leave my parking place to future seniors. I, JOANNA NERAT, do hereby will to Quincy Jr.-Sr. High after my first million, enough money to replace all stairways with the most modern escalators. I, JUDY O'KELLEY, hereby will all my fun and enioyment that I got out of Quincy High to my sister, Patsy, because she will need it. I, SUSAN ORR, hereby will my ability to get away with wearing a fraternity pin in gym to anyone else who has one. I, JERRY PAYNE, hereby will my old football shoes to anybody who wants them. I, ALLEN PENLAND, will my ability to get absent slips O.K. to anyone in Q.H.S., in hopes they will do better than I. I, JIMMY POTTORFF, will my ability to wear size I2 shoes to Charles Train. I, SUSIE ROUSH, leave the fun l've had in Quincy High to all underclassmen and the wish that I could have had more than one year here. I, NORMA SAARI, do hereby will to some deserving freshman, my place in Mr. Beck's crafts class for the next four years, in hopes that he or she will keep Mr. Beck happy by turning out first-class leather carved purses. I, DAISY SHARP, hereby will to Sara Smith and Judy Pottorff all my good times in homemaking. To Tomlyn Means, my ability to ride horses. To Claudine Huntington, my ability to get my drivers licence. SENIOR CLASS lFlFlIClElRS Elks L. to R. Mike Crawford, President, Jackie Way, Council Representative, Darleen Miller, Vice-President: Vivian Comingdeer, Secretary SlENll R ClL SS ll'illIS'lFfO Y The seniors, class of 1957, had a very successful year. Roberta Bennett was our candidate for All-Sports Queen. She served as an attendant to the queen at the All- Sports Dance held on November 9, 1956. The senior boys on the varsity football team were: john jenkin, Mike Crawford, jim Pottorff, Weston Brown, Billie Love, Ken Clarke, and Willie Wright. Many other seniors went out for basketball, baseball, and track. Three student body officers were from the senior class. They were: President, jerry McKevittg Vice-president, Billie Love, and Treasurer, Joetta Yager, Other senior representatives on the council included Jackie Way, Susan Youngs, Barbara Young, Yvonne Beale, Pat Foley and Roberta Bennett. There were several seniors on C.S.F. Yvonne Beale and Barbara Young were life members. The Senior Ball was held on December S, 1956. The theme was Rhapsody in Blue. It was very well attended, and everyone had a good time. Again this year, the senior class helped the l'.T.A. with the Halloween carnival which helped to finance the senior all-night party which concluded our happy years at 4,2
