SENT R lPlRl0lPlHllECY e 11967 Also in the bright entertainment world is Pat Foley, better known by her stage name, Teznpest Foley. Pat's dreams finally came true when she became a sensation with her new dance, Sensation. With a push of the button, we see janet Allen's Latest Fashion Shop. janet owns the store and carries the latest styles for girls six feet tall and over. Two of her extra tall models turn out to be Harlene Massey, and Velma Haney. Yvonne Beale has just walked out with her arms full of packages. Yvonne plays fullback on the Femme Fatale Football Team of 1967. She has proved to be the team's star tackler and has a broken nose and a bruised gizzard to show for it. Tom Lewis is another one of the graduates who owns his own business. Tom has a shoe shine shop where he literally rakes in the dough. Right now he is shining Mike Crawfords dirty shoes. Mike achieved fame when he completed the atom smasher he made with his tinker toys. The two hear something above them and look up to see Weston Brown stripping the gears of his flying saucer. Weston is now an expert flying saucer mechanic. Riding with Weston is the accomplished farmer, Robert jeskey. Although Robert stays busy, he always finds time to be very active in the Republican party and has become an influential party leader. The next picture shows us the business place of jackie Way and joetta Yager, The Wager Hair Raising Company. jackie tells hair-raising stories to all the bald men, while joetta inserts hair in the holes in the heads provided by the junior class of Quincy High School. The girls are planning to go on their vacation next month and already have reservations on the West's largest choo-choo train owned by Gary West. Taking a look into the inside of the train, right now, we see many of our old friends. The head conductor turns out to be none other than jimmy Potorff, who has just been given a new brass ticket puncher for his birthday. Right now, he is using it to punch a ticket for Rae Yager, who is on her way to Chicago to attend the National Convention of Dubble Bubble comic strip writers. Rae is the only woman attending the convention and, so far, has outdone most of the men. Speaking of bubble gum, Kenneth Clarke, the scientist, has just invented a bubble gum that doesn't stick to your face when the bubble pops. Right now he is working on a gum with a built-in muffler. Getting back to the train, we find jimmy punching a ticket for Vivian Comingdeer, who is sitting with Mr. America known as Harold Andrea. Vivian and Harold are considered very lucky these days, as they won each other in the Mr. America and Miss America beauty contests. In the kitchen of the train, We see the cook, jucly Grother. Judy is busy right now drilling holes in the swiss cheese. Mr. Tharp now pushes another button, and we see john Gossett's own bakery. He calls his shop Gossett's Goodies and has many satisfied customers. His employee is Denise McTwigan, the socialite. Barbara Young is one of his regular customers, and, right now, she is buying some of john's goodies Barb solicits Scandin- avian toe nail brushes for the Fuller Brush Company. Next to john's bakery is Erma Crabtree's art shop, where Barbara McConnell is her faithful assistant. Erma's specialty is the postcards she designed for the advertisement of Gansner Park's newest hotel. Barbara helped her with the fabulous postcards, and they sell like hotcakes. Iimia tells us that Barbara is helpful only if she can chew gum while working. When the scene changes again, a court room is what we see. judge Allen Penland awaits his next case which turns out to be Rody Haslam, who has received a ticket for going too slow. jack Kennedy, San Francisco's top traffic cop, gave him the ticket. jack, unlike most cops, just loves to give tickets. He gave Yvonne Wussow a ticket for giving a signal with her foot instead of her arm. Yvonne is quite successful in the skating field and has recently started teaching it. One of her pupils is Roberta Bennett, who is coming right along with her figure eight. Our next and last picture is, of all places, in the heart of Borneo. This is where Sally Elder and Elaine Brun- ing have their head shrinking camp. The girls say that head shrinking is really simple, but the only difficulty is trying to hold the person still. Well, Mr. Tharp tells us that this is the end of our looking into the future, and he turns off his time machine. As we leave, we can all hope that the graduating class of 1957 will be as successful as we have made them!

SlENlIfO RO HJECY e 11967 Mr. Tharp is now the owner of a newly invented time machine and has invited us to look in on the graduat- ing class of 1957, as they will appear in 1967. He turns the machine on, pulls levers, and pushes buttons until we see our first picture. It is that of a new fangled taxi speeding down the suspended highway towards the space- ship port. As we get a closer look at the taxi, we see that our husky friend, Billie Love is the driver. When the taxi stops, out steps none other than jerry Mclfevitt, pilot of his own snazzy little spaceship, the McKevitt Moonbeam. Jerry makes daily flights in his spaceship and is gradually getting over his airsickness. The ship is ready to go now and a hasty signal is received from Charles Hasty, who is a lookout in the control tower. As the McKevitt Moonbeam zooms away into space, the picture changes. . Now the scene is a restaurant owed by Robert Hook. His waitresses are two of our former classmates, jane Abel and Shirley Moseley. When Robert's business is slow, jane and Shirley stand outside and drag customers in since they are both sturdy and strong, they have no trouble at all. Now, let's take a peek inside. At one table we see Elijah Knight and Willie Wright eagerly attacking their dinners of legs of squid sprinkled with seaweed. The two now own a sightseeing helicopter which travels around the large city of Quincy. Back in the corner we see Anna jo jesler busily pulling levers on the restaurants only candy machine. Anna has her hands full with her job as a housewife. Another customer proves to be Charles Skemp, who is eating shrimp. Charles is the Master ol Ceremonies on an International TV Cooking School. As the scene changes again, we see a United States Navy ship that has just come into port. There is a large crowd to greet the ship. . .and lookl 'l'here's Susan Orr. What could Susan be doing here? She is usually so busy at her job as a lingerie saleslady that she doesn't have time for things like that. Looking at the returning sailors, we see quite a few of our old friends. Nelson Chin looks absolutely charming stepping off the gang plank in his bell bottom trousers. A few thousand inches behind Nelson is Gary Allen, the ship's best potato peeler. Gary was chosen for this position from among ten candidates. He is wearing a new apron with no strings attached. Another homecoming sailor is Billy Whipple. Now that he is a civilian once more, Billy plans to further his career which is selling chocolate cottage cheese. He was doing a bang up business before he was hooked. Mr. Tharp pushes another button and we see a large crowd of people looking at something. Towering above the onlookers is joanna Nerat, who designs pajamas for Macy's, one of Quincy's many department stores, owned by jim Epperson. Joanna and the rest of the spectators seem to be quite excited over something. In the middle of the crowd is Marlene McDonald, big game hunter of New York. She has just captured a monkey here on Main Street that has escaped from the city zoo, owned by ferry Payne. As we start walking down the street we see the large charm school that Darleen Miller has recently bought. The former owner, Larry Towner, put it up for sale a week ago when he decided to buy a used spaceship lot. One of Darlene's employees is Charleen Dingle. She works in the posture department where she teaches promis- ing young students the correct way to walk. Wilma McMaster, the expert hair stylist, is busy broiling Norma Saari's long, red hair. Norma is now the first woman president of Yale Uuiversity. Louise Cooper sits at the re- ceptionist's desk where she greets prospective customers. The next picture seems to be backstage of the Sharp Opera Theater owned by Daisy Sharp. By signs, we See that the name of tonight's opera is Toothache which was written by the great opera composer judy O'Kelley. Jessie jenkin is spraying her throat diligently for the one note she sings at the opening of the opera tonight. Sitting out front in one of the balcony boxes is Susan Youngs. Susan, making use of hey Sense of humor 4 1 4. ', , writes her own comic strip. The name of the strip is Shy Susan. Staying in the entertainment field, but switching the scene to Hollywood, we see a movie studio. The fam- ous director, john jenlzirz, tells Hollywood's newest actress, Susie Roush, that she is pronouncing her words of love too fast. Edwin Wilson, her leading man, eagerly awaits for the scene to be practiced again.
