MARTHA SEEBER MARY BARNES- -VIVIAN BENNETT GENE CLARK----- OFFICERS -------------President ■------V ice President ---------- - - Secretary Council Representative CLASS HISTORY The mighty seniors, class of 55 , had a very good year. Twenty-four of the seniors started the Seventh grade at Quincy High School in 1949, and a class of forty-seven was graduated on June 2, 1954. Mary Barnes was crowned Homecoming Queen at the Homecoming game against Greenville, on October 30, 1954. The Senior Class float was a huge football shoe stepping on two Indians. Everyone had fun working on the float. The Senior boys on the Varsity football team were Alfred Lewis, John Clark, Bob Edwards, Jim Mault, Loren Poore, Jim Transue, Bob Warner, Clarence Wilson, Tom Gossett, and John Wininger. Many others went out for basketball, baseball, and track. The Senior Ball was held on December 11, 1954. It was well attended and greatly enjoyed by all. Life members in the California Scholarship Federation were Diane Driver and Tom Cavanagh. The Senior Class advisors were Mr. Crawford and Mr. Nichol.
