The Greenville Student Leaders Conference was attended by Mary Lynn Turner, Kathleen Sterrett, Tom Hasty and Mary LouHolbrook. They all said it was very worth -while. The next big event was the football teams homecoming. Our float had the Pine surrounded by two student and sport representatives. Mary Lynn Turne'- w?.s our candidate for queen. The Chico Student Leaders Conference was held in the middle of February; Kathryn Ferguson, Geof Harmer, Barbara Wilder, Mary Lou Holbrook, Tom Hasty, Warren Gorbett and Diane O'Rourke attended. This was an experience we will long remember. The Sophomore Hop, February 22nd, was more widely publicized as The Hobo Hop.
