LOUIS FISCHER, Student Body President Student odcf ie4ident'4 Message Little do we realize how important an education is today. A high - school education today is a necessity. For those of us who are not going to college, it prepares us for our future vocations in life. Students who are taking an academic course and are planning to go to college should try to maintain a high scholastic standard. Extracurricular activities also play an important part in our high - school education. Such activities consist of athletics, music, clubs, or work on school publications. These activities will not only enable us to work together but will also contribute to our social lives. Many of us today who are going to graduate from high school are faced with the uncertainty of continuing our education or joining military service. Unless we are sure of being inducted we should try to continue our education as long as possible. We must not forget, whether in civilian or military life, that a person with a high - school and college education will have the opportunity for unlimited advancements.
