STUDfllT BODy PRESIDENT'S NIESSRGE Most of us think that school is just to fill our minds with academic material. But actually, there are a couple of factors involved along with the reading, writing, and arithmetic which, I believe, are just as important as if not more so when you think of the chaotic situation in the world today. We are learning to cooperate, not just cooperation in school, but carrying it out and applying it in everyday life. What the world needs today is true cooperation, to do the best for the most, putting aside our individual desires. Responsibility is another big item, doing your wo k, not just school work, but any job that is to be done. One should getit done on time, doing the best jobpossibie. The prerequisite for a harmonious and peaceful life is for everyone to take his share of responsibilities and to do them well while cooperating with all those concerned. By practicing these important ideals here at our school, we shall be able to go out to adulthood and make an enjoyable life for ourselves and influence others also. By doing this we can make our country stronger and do our part to advance world peace by cooperation. STUDENT councn FIRST ROW: S. Coleman, M. Young, N. Stapley, J. Delano, L. Shoote, M. Pruitt, A.
