SBPHOmOfitS The Sophomore Class started off right this year with two excellent advisors, Miss Holmes and Mr. Burns. Two outstanding achievements of the year were: their winning second prize in the Annual Homecoming Parade; and their being represented in the Homecoming Queen Contest by representative, “Bunny” Gambell. The next major accomplishment for the group was the staging of their annual Sophomore Hop. The theme was “Harvest Moon”, and everyone will remember it as one of the best dances of the school year. Stites. niflTH GRADE The ninth grade was well represented in all fields of endeavor. Tanis Train was the ninth grade Home-coming prince ss candidate. Many freshman boys were active in sports. The Junior High yell leaders, Charlene Stewart, Joan Cotter, and Shirley Coleman, were all from the ninth grade. Georgia Barnes and Shirley Coleman were representatives appointed to represent the Junior High on the Senior High council. Shirley Coleman was also elected to the County Council.
