THE MV STERV 01 THE CAPSULE MILCH Ten years have passed. It is 1959i3 '' 33 Flash! Important announcement! MR. DEAN DIXON, President of Pines and Needles Company, has just reported his lunch stolen. The thieves are believed to be members of his high school class of 1949. MR. DIXON says the Physics Class always was hungry, but he didn’t believe they would be hungry after ten years. The D.A., GENE PARKER, and Chief of Police, BOB GRAVERT, say they’ll not leave a stone unturned till they find the capsule lunch. Jumping in their jet plane the D.A., PARKER, and Chief of Police, GRAVERT, left for Africa to interview and question Reporter and Photographer ROSS HUTCHINSON. They couldn’t find him, however; it seems he got lost in a part of Africa called the “Dark Room.” Detectives, JOAN LEE and SHIRLEY DAKIN, have interviewed Governor DICK BIGBY of California (a member of the 1949 class) who says, Friends, Countrymen, and Californians, somebody must have been hungry. Crime Doctor BOB YOUNG believes the motive for theft was encyphalo-myeleus. His nurse, BEVERLY HERMAN, agrees with his diagnosis. Both are members of the 1949 class. MR. and MRS. CHARLES AUSMUS(nee MARILEE EDSON) have been released from suspicion because they own a restaurant. MARILEE sings for entertainment--“Prices for capsule dinners are reasonable.” We interrupt this program to bring you a new clue on the Capsule Case. JERRY NUGENT, all-round cowboy of 1959, has just turned cannibal and eaten his horse. Senator MARILYN COTTER has just been called in for questioning. It looks serious because she is negotiating with President BATHA on a bill for more food for her district in Plumas County. Witnesses Morticians GENE DUPONT and HAROLD “Peanuts MASON have been called in to testify on the Grand Jury. Electrician Bill Moore has also been called in. He will without a doubt be the only live wire there. The technical side of the Capsule Case is being considered by Mathematician REX BEARD. According to his calculations the answer is -2: Minus two capsules for lunch. Inspector RAY HUNTINGTON, after many board meetings, has finally managed to locate LARRY BASHAW. He was not recognized because he had shaved. Lawyer for defense, RAY DREYER, had to postphone the Grand Jury hearing because he is suffering from malnutrition. The Salvation Army has lost two of its best social workers, JO ANN SHARON and WILLO SAPP. They couldn’t get enough to eat. This concludes our broadcast for today. This is LOUIS BROWN, reporter on food affairs, signing off.
