Baccalaureate and Commencement Baccalaureate services were held June 6 at 8 P.M. in the gymna- sium. The Rev. Mr. Don Brown presented the address to the gradu- ates while the Rev. Mr. Bill Hinshaw gave the call to worship, the invocation, and the benediction. A prayer for the graduates was offered by the Rev. Mr. W. W. Noblitt, Jr. The graduates were led in the processional and recessional by Cheryl Fryer and Scott Luce, members of the junior class. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Emily Chard. The ninety-sixth annual commencement exercises of QHS were held June 11 at 8 P.M. on the athletic field. Processional and recessional music was provided by the band while Mrs. Emily Chard played organ music during the presentation of diplomas. 28

End Year for Seniors The Top Ten students each had a special part in the exercises: Robin Alexander, Invocation: Susan Bowerman, Welcome; Marilyn Lounds, Class Poem; Diane Bowen, Presentation of Class Gift; Jody Sours, Charge to the Class; Tim Baldwin, Appreciation to Faculty and Staff; Lewis Temples, Appreciation to Parents; Jill Sours, Appreciation to Community; Connie Wells, Introduction of Speaker; and Robin Keeton, Benediction. The commencement address was given by Mr. Scott McKain, followed by the presentation of the class by Mr. Spalding, the con- firmation of diplomas by Mr. Harold Schultz, Board of Education President, and the presentation of diplomas by Mr. Ronald Rey- nolds, Superintendent. 29
