On Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, the high school student body elected Julie Strang, Miss Oriole, with Sharon Luce, first runner-up and Kathy Curtiss, second runner-up. Also partici- pating were Denise Harmon, freshman; Lori Ditton, Julie Bemis, sophomores; Velda Sperbeck, junior; and Chris Suever, Jan Osborn, and Sue Ridley, seniors. All the girls were escorted by members of the J.V. basket- ball team, Bob Loveberry, Scot Luce, Cam Gary, Bruce Miller, Jim Fidler, Tim Kling, Dennis Quimby, Ben Rich- ardson, John Lange, Tim Brown and Mr. Ludlow, who escorted Shelly.
