JERRY HOOLEY Shy Michelle? CLASS POEM We stand on the edge of our future. Eager to stand on our own two feet, Yet unsure where to place the first step. We have waited for this moment with Apprehension, and now find that it is Not the confident step we had imagined, But merely a blind push forward. Yet we make this move, As so many before us have done. Some shall achieve greatness, Some shall feel the depression of failure, And many shall merely exist.
