Superintendent Reynolds Coordinates Quincy Schools During the course of our formal education, the school has come to mean many things to each of us. How- ever, the Quincy Community Schools exist for only one purpose, to provide an education for the youth of our nation. In obtaining this education you must work, study, concentrate and always strive to do better. Learning isn't always easy, nor is it always fun. Your teachers try to keep the subject interesting. However, like anything else, learning takes long hours of practice; sometimes these are monotonous, other times short and humorous. Although many extracurricular activities are available for your participation, obtaining an education is the first objective and of most importance. Education is the key which opens the door to a better life for you. You have only one chance - take it, use it wisely and well. Remember, it is not the physical plant that makes the school or your education. It is YOU, the student, who makes its name - by your work, your spirit and your character. 8
