Born in Brockton. Lloyd Hilt attended Brockton High School. H . went on to Brown University to receive his Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. Later, he matriculated at Bridgewater State college and received his Master's degree. He then went on to Suffolk Law School and received his Juris Doctorate law. Mr. Hill’s activity in public education was inspired by his own personal interest in teaching and other aspects of education. After leaching at North Quincy High School. Mr. Hill became : e Assistant Principal at Sterling Junior High School. He proceeded ; • become Assistant Principal at North Quincy High School and in 1978. became Principal of Quincy High School. Mr. Hill has run in several Quincy marathons until they were discontinued a few years ago. Since 1979. he has completed every Boston marathon. Mr. Hill has a wife and five children. The children range in age from five to twenty-four. Three of their children have graduated from college. There have been many changes in the past year in the administration. Last year Miss Sydelle Goldman was ill and Mr. Marlin Finnegan acted as dean for most of the year. Miss Goldman retired in June and the School Committee decided to reorganize the administration. It was decided that as the dean's positions were vacated they would be upgraded to Assistant Principal making them equal in status to Mr. Robert Basiliere. Mr. Louis loanilli was appointed Assistant Principal in October as one dean's position was eliminated. With his promotion the second dean's position was also eliminated and Mr. George Yezukevich was appointed as the third Assistant Principal in December. Mr. Lloyd Hill Principal. Picture Not Available Ms. Marie Hurley Assistant Director Mr. Paul Sullivan Assistant Director (Jnappoinled at this date Quincy Vocational Technical School Administration 6 Q.V.T.S. Administration Before beginning teaching Mr. Mazzarella was a cabinet maker. He graduated from the Brockton Trade School having learned cabinet-making. Graduating from Fitchburg Stale College. Mr. Mazzarella received both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree. He began his career in education at the Southeastern Regional School in Easton. MA. It was at the Regional School where he became an administrator, a shop supervisor. In 1979 Mr. Mazzarella became the Assistant Director of Southeastern Regional School and Vocational programs. In 1981 Mr. Mazzarella was appointed director of Quincy Vocational Technical School by the Quincy School Committee. Mr. Joseph Mazzarella has lived in Quincy for thirty years. He is married and has two boys, one of whom graduated from Quincy Vocational Technical School. His children now run a family business.
