ROSMICK AJEMIAN Ross Ajemian was born on November 6. 1916 in Aleppo. Syria. His Armenian parents came to Amer- ica in 1919 settling in Roslindale. Massachusetts. His elementary and high school education was in the Boston School System. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the Army-European sector. In 1947 he was married to Elizabeth Manuelian, a Quincy resident, and thereafter lived in Quincy. He operated his own bakery for twelve years in Dorchester. Mass, but then decided to enter education and at 55 years of age was granted a B.S. degree from Fitchburg State Teachers College. During this time he was teaching baking arts for the Manpower Development and Training Program. Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School and lastly Quincy Vocational Technical High School. He was active in his youth as one of the founding members of the Armenian Youth Federation, an organization dedicated to the principle of ethnic minorities contributing to the American scene. He worked vigorously for his St. Steven’s Armenian Apostolic Church as a kitchen consultant and in other means compatible with his talents. Ross passed away July 19. 1977. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his son. Ross, and his daugh- ter. Margaret. 5 Dedication

MRS. NANCY CHRISTIAN Mrs. Christian started teaching at Quincy High School in 1964. Prior to her job here at Quincy, she taught at Ashland High School. She taught Latin and French to the students of Quincy and was well-liked by both students and faculty. Mrs. Christian was a warm, patient, soft-spoken per- son who was always concerned with the welfare of her students and believed that everything in life was a long learning process. Those that knew her realize that she contributed a great deal to the growth, education, and happiness of all. Mrs. Christian was graduated from Regis College: she also took graduate courses at Boston College and was actively involved in Summer Workshops. Mrs. C'hristian and Mrs. Myatt kept Latin alive at Quincy High. Together they would plan many outside activities for the Latin Club members. A hard-working person. Mrs. Christian was also gifted with an extra-special spiritual drive that made her an extra-special person to her many friends at Quincy. Mrs. Christian passed away April 4. 1977. Dedica tion
