Max Allen, Darrell Bakker, Joleen Baum, Paul Cantine, Betty Day, La Vern Day, Jack Elliott, Joyce Blliott, Barbara Fassler, Beth Graham, Vir ginia Griffin, Shirley Hodgdon, Celestine Hollingshead,' Ruby Johnson, Richard Knapp, Berniece Kohn, Cleo McCannon Lorie McCartney, Darlene Peck, Rita Reinert, Betty Rupp, Marlo Simonsen, Leona Smith, Doyle Sones, Betty Stevenson Vernon Stevenson, Norma Wright, and Floyd Zimmer. With the help of their sponsor, Mr. Roellig, they elected the following class officers: President--Barbara Fassler, Vice-President--Ruby Johnson, Soo'y Treasurer--Jack El- liott. At the beginning of their sophomore year, they added four members to their class: Lila Anderson of Cherokee, Delphine Geister of marcus, Twila Adamson of Nelson, Neb- raska, and Warren Lundsgaard of Ruskin, Nebraska. How- everg three also dropped from within the ranks: Marlo Simonsen moved to Tucson, Arizona, Leona Smith 'moved to Cherokee, and Ruby Johnson enrolled as a junior. Class officers elected with hr. Goodman as sponsor were as fol- lows: President--Doylp Sones, Vice-President--Rita Rein- ert, See'y Treasurer--Celestine Hollingshead, Class Re porter--Virginia Griffin, student Council member---Warren Lundsgaard. During the your they had other entrees: Jean Huoser of harcus, and Sdith and Jack hummer from Bassett, Nebraska. They did, however, bid goodbye to Loris HcCart ney, who moved to Galva, Lila Anderson who moved to Suth4 erland, and LaVorn Day who dropped from their company. One of the highlights of this school year was the all- high-school roller skating party at Storm Lake. Buses were used as a means of transportation, and a very enjoy- articipants.
