The results of the contestants' very' tedious work were indeed surprising and beautiful. even to the most skeptical observer. XVorthy of special mention were the con- tributions of Raymond Komorski and YYillard slabusch in oils. XValter Xlcxeeley and George ,lohnson in pencil. Curtis Kiesling in pastels, and Carl llerschel in terra-cotta. Linder the guidance of Father ,l. .-Xustin Gran and the expert advice of the guest lecturers. Fathers Christ. llorrison and Niemeyer. all thirty mem- bers of this organization have improved their work and are well on the path to professional art.
