Dr. J. A. Corry Distinguished scholar and administrator. Dr. James Alexander Corry assumes tlye position of Principal of Queen's University with the sincere good wishes of t ye in- dent body. To him this volume of TRICOLOR is dedicated with pride and affec- tion. Dr. Corry Jyas a record of service that has already placed him among tJye great men of fJyis university. As Hardy Professor of Political Science, founder and first Acting Dean of tlye Vacuity of Law, and as Vice-Principal lye has laboured with imagi nation and sustained vigour. His selection as Principal has been widely and justly acclaimed. In the words of E. C. Gill, chairman of the Board of Trustees: Dr. Corry has our prayers for tlye health and strength to match his powers of mind and spirit.
