r M6 Y A TIME TO DANCE. Page Eight Our Sophomore year . . . a real feeling of belonging . . . we were upperclassmen and our sister class was now the Senior class. The Seniors would soon be gone . . . we rushed into an urgency to know them. On the other side was a crop of new Freshmen. We yeamed for their innocence and a sense of expectancy, but we had our own year to look forward to. For the First time we had a chance to question what we were accomplishing . . . it bothered us. With no closed study to stop us, the nights slipped into early moming discussions . . . we tried to solve the world's problems as well as our own. The answers were not easily ours. We came to accept jello at meals, Chapel on Monday, and being in the dorm on a weekend. Screams, a shiny fraternity pin, and a push to the shower by eager friends were only a part of the closeness we shared. We came to understand casual friends and respect each person's particularities as her own. i. A TIME TO EMBRACE . ..
