BOARDING STUDE COUNCIL Boarding Student Government is based on the belief that the members of the college community desire for themselves growth in self-discipline and self-control in behavior. Its purpose is, therefore, to make the campus and the residence halls conducive to this growth and self-control. lts duties are to formulate and enforce Stu- dent Government regulations, to uphold the merit system, to act as a liaison between the boarding students and the administration, and to assist in planning Freshman Orientation VVeek. 3
