Tillett has contributed immeasurably to the attain- ment of excellence in literary effort among Queens students and to the strengthening of the academic standards of the college. In recognition of the contributions which she has made to Queens College, in 1958 the Laura Tillett Building was named in her honor. It is with respect, admiration, and affection that we dedicate the 1959 CNORONET to Miss Tillett.
