OUR PRESIDE DR. HUNTER B. BLAKELY. MA.. 'I'h.D.. DD. Dr. Blakely's friendly counsel and kindly guidance have meant much to us who have known him since his acceptance of the presi- dency of Queens College in 1939. His contagious optimism is Wide- spread on the campus both through the informal talks which the students feel free to have in his office at any time, and through the talks he makes to the student body as a whole. His devotion to the most minute of our individual problems and his personal interest in the solution of these problems are the qualifications which best it him for the office of Our President.
