The stride which it has made during the past decade is but a promise of what it will do during the next decade. It is in existence for the purpose of giving thorough instruction, satu- rated with Christian ideals and surrounded by Christian iniiuence, result- ing in Christian character-the greatest need of modern times. Queens-Chicora College is strategically located on the main line of the Southern Railway from Washington to New Orleans, and the far west. Many outstanding men and women visit Charlotte every year. They are either brought to Queens-Chicora's Chapel, or the students have the privilege of hearing them in the city. For Literature ClHIlI1Zf02'77lClll.01Z Write THE PRESIDENT BOX 2389 CHARLOTTE, N. Mental note for you: if I have left any- thing out. why don't you suggest it to Gin for next year. But before you close the book, Ruth and I want to tell you what a good time we have had doing this for you this year. It has been lots of fun. We have had to work: but our staffs have been so good about helping that we hardly minded even that. And there have been other people who have helped to make this the most pain- less annual we ever saw. too: Ruth and I would like to thank them, along with our staffs, for their assistance. There is BRADSHAW CRANDELL. who picked the Beauties: and MRS. ST. JOHN, who took their pictures tbesides taking the pictures of all the rest of us Hnot-so-pretties J, and HARRY and JOE HUNTINGTON up there at the Studio. And then we would like to thank JANE STAINBACK, and BUCK, and every one at the Engravers who helped: and I-IARRIE KECK. down at the Observer Printing House. Thanks, too. to DR. STOUT. always so ready to advise on any matter: and to all of the others that I could not even begin to mention. including our advertisers. And now it is time to say, TI-IE END.
